Yeah, it started in my parents' basement. Don't judge me.
I was a teenager, it was ski season, and somebody had to tune the family's gear. That somebody became me. And honestly? I loved it. There's something satisfying about taking a beat-up base, putting in the work, and sending it back out onto the mountain ready to fly.
In 2019 I decided to stop keeping it to myself. After a late-night tune session I threw up a Facebook page, told the Greater Lansing area I was open for business, and waited to see what would happen. That first year I had over 20 customers. Not bad for a guy with a wax iron and a basement.
I've been at it ever since. Every ski and snowboard that comes through gets my full attention — no shortcuts, no rushing, no phoning it in. That's what "handcrafted" actually means around here.
